Profile, account, notifications.

Settings is in the account menu, top right. It has three tabs.

Profile

  • Change avatar: any JPEG or PNG. The studio takes a square crop and stores it at 512 pixels.
  • Display name: what people see on your work, up to 80 characters.
  • Handle: your @name for public pages and Community cards. Lowercase letters, numbers, dashes and underscores, up to 30 characters. The field checks availability as you type. Changing it changes every public URL you have; see Community.
  • Bio: 140 characters.

Press Save. If you leave the tab with unsaved edits, the studio asks first.

Account

  • Email, Password & two-factor and Sessions all open your account console in a new tab. That is where you change your email, set a new password, switch on two-factor authentication and review the devices signed in. The studio itself never holds your password.
  • Storage shows how much of your quota you are using: 2 GB on Free, 25 GB on Starter, 100 GB on Creator, 500 GB on Pro, 2 TB on Studio. The bar warns at 80 percent. Over the quota, new takes are blocked until you delete something; nothing is deleted for you.
  • Theme: Dark or Light. The account menu has the same toggle.
  • Recent activity: your last few events in plain words: signed in, started a take, take finished, credits returned, bought credits, changed plan, and so on.
  • Danger zone: Delete account removes your takes, assets, elements, projects and shares permanently. Type your email to confirm. If you own a workspace with other members, transfer ownership first. Your sign-in itself remains; signing in again starts a fresh, empty account.

Notifications

One switch per notification type. A type that is switched off is never written, so nothing piles up while you are away. The types are listed on Notifications and emails.

Signing in and sessions

A sign-in lasts seven days on that device, then the studio asks you to sign in again. Password resets and two-factor codes are handled by the account console linked above. If your account is put on hold, every session is signed out at once and the studio shows a notice with the support address.
