Cinema Studio

Set the look once and keep every take on script.

Cinema Studio is the Video and Image console with a director’s desk in front of it. You set up the film once, genre, era, camera, palette and lighting, and every take you roll inherits that setup. Takes can be filed under a project so a whole film stays together.

The desk

Five tiles sit above the prompt. Each opens a sheet, and a dot on the tile means you changed something from Auto.

  • References: the images guiding this take, counted against the model’s limit.
  • Film setup: Genre (Cinematic, Film Noir, Documentary, Anime, Cyberpunk, Fantasy Epic, Horror, Music Video, Commercial, Vintage Film, Wes Anderson, Studio Ghibli), Era (the 1960s to the 2020s) and Tempo (Slow Burn, Steady, Brisk, Frenetic).
  • Camera: Setup picks a body (35mm film, IMAX, a VHS camcorder and more), a lens from 14mm to 135mm and an aperture from f/1.4 to f/16. Movement, for video, lists 44 camera moves you can stack in order; each lands in the prompt as a #move.
  • Palette: ten built-in colour palettes such as Teal & Orange, Neon Nights and Bleach Bypass, or New palette with two to eight colours of your own.
  • Lighting: ten built-in setups such as Golden Hour, Rembrandt and Moonlight, or New lighting preset described in a line.

Every sheet starts with Auto and has Reset all. In Image mode only References and Camera apply.

Your own palettes and lighting presets are saved to your account, up to 50 of each.

Rolling a take

Pick a project, or none

The left sidebar lists your projects. New project asks for a name; from then on, new takes land in it, and you are told so. Without a project, the desk still remembers your setup on this device.

Set the desk and write the prompt

Switch between Image and Video, then describe the scene. Use @ for cast and locations you saved as Elements and # for camera moves. The pills below set the model, quality or size, aspect, duration, audio and count, the same controls as the Video and Image tools.

Generate

The button shows the price. The take renders in place with a progress readout, then shows the result. A failed take offers Retry.

At the bottom of the page, the Presets reel holds motion and effect looks. Click one to apply it: a motion preset adds its #move, an effect adds its words to the prompt.

Projects

A project is a folder for a film: its takes, its Elements, its saved desk setup and a cover taken from the latest result. Hover a project card to Rename or Delete it. Deleting a project keeps every take in your library; only the folder goes.

In a workspace, projects are personal until you share them. Sharing a project lets exactly the people you pick use it, and they see it under My projects with “from” and your name.

Elements in the sidebar opens the Element library filtered to the current project, and Favourites opens your favourited video takes.

Where the setup shows up

The desk writes its choices into the prompt as language at the moment you generate, so what the model gets is plain text, and you can read it back in the take’s details. Nothing here changes the price: credits are set by the model, the duration and the quality, as everywhere else.
