Credits and plans
Everything you render is paid for in credits. Your balance shows in the studio header; click it to open Billing.
What a take costs
The price of a take depends on the model and, for video, the duration and the quality. For images it depends on the size. Rendering several takes at once multiplies the price by the count.
You never have to work it out: the Generate button shows the exact cost before you press it, and the number updates as you change the settings.
- Credits are charged when you press Generate.
- If the take fails or times out, the credits come back automatically, and refunded credits never expire.
- A refused prompt costs nothing.
- Plan credits are spent before pack credits, so the ones that could expire go first.
Where credits come from
A few days before unused plan credits expire, the studio emails you a reminder.
The plans
Every price includes GST. Plans are monthly and renew automatically.
“Roughly buys” counts 1K images and 5-second clips on the cheapest models. Higher quality costs more per take.

Top-up packs
Packs add credits on top of any plan, including Free, and they never expire.
Buy a pack from Billing, or from the top-up prompt that appears when a take costs more than you have.
How long takes are kept
Each plan keeps your takes for a set window, from 30 days on Free to a year on Studio. When takes are about to reach the end of the window, the studio emails you a week ahead so you can download what you want to keep.
Favourite a take to hold on to it longer: a favourited take is kept for the next plan’s window rather than your own, so a favourite on Creator gets Pro’s 180 days. On Studio there is no next tier. Uploads never expire.
Alongside the window there is a storage quota per plan, from 2 GB on Free to 2 TB on Studio. Over the quota, new takes are blocked until you delete something; nothing is deleted for you. See Takes and the rail.
Changing plans
Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from Billing. Upgrades apply at once; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period. See Changing or cancelling your plan. Invoices, usage and your billing profile are on the Billing page.
