Takes and the rail

Every take you render lands in the rail, the strip beside the console on the Image and Video pages. The same takes appear on the Assets page, together with your uploads. This page covers what a take is, how the rail behaves, and how long things are kept.

The rail

List or grid, and a tile-size slider, remembered per page. G and L switch between the two.
All or Favourites filters the takes.
Takes render in place. A rendering take updates every couple of seconds until it finishes.
Several takes made in a row with the same prompt and settings collapse into one tile. Click to expand them.
Fifty takes load at a time; scroll for more.

Opening a take

Click a take to open it. The media sits on the left. On the right: the slate line as the title, the Prompt with a Copy button, the references used, a details list, and the actions. The arrow keys move through the rail; Esc closes.

The details list includes a Take code that looks like T-AB12CD. It names the take for you and for support, so quote it when you write in.

Actions

Action	What it does
Reuse	Puts the prompt as you typed it, the model, quality, aspect, seed, background setting, negative prompt and every reference back into the console, then scrolls to Generate.
Download	Saves the file.
Favourite	Marks the take, and keeps it one plan tier longer than your retention window.
Copy URL	Copies a private link to the media, while the take is not public.
Create element, Assign to element	Turns the take into a reusable Element, or adds it as a reference to one. See Elements.
Send to Community	Submits the take for review. See Community.
Delete	Removes the take after an inline confirm.

Video takes add Extend (continue the clip; see Video), Upscale (see Upscale) and, on takes made from a preset, Use this preset. Image takes add Animate, which opens Video with the image as the start frame, and Regenerate in the rail row.

A failed take

A failed take shows FAILED, a plain reason and what to do about it, then either REFUNDED with the amount or NO CREDITS WERE CHARGED. The actions become Retry (a fresh take, charged at the price shown), Edit and retry, and, when a reference was the problem, Change reference.

How long takes are kept

Each plan keeps the media of your takes for a window. When the window closes, the file is deleted; the take’s record, prompt and cost stay in your history.

Favourite a take and it is kept for the next tier’s window: a favourited take on Creator is kept for Pro’s 180 days. On Studio there is no next tier.
Upgrading lengthens the window of takes you already made. Downgrading never shortens it.
Uploads never expire.
From seven days out, the tile shows an EXPIRES chip with the days left, and the studio emails you once a week about takes that are about to go. See Notifications and emails.

Storage

Alongside the time window there is a storage quota: 2 GB on Free, 25 GB on Starter, 100 GB on Creator, 500 GB on Pro, 2 TB on Studio. The bar in Settings warns at 80 percent. Over the quota, new takes are blocked until you delete something; nothing is deleted for you.

Deleting

Deleting a take or an asset is immediate and permanent. It leaves every list at once and there is no restore. Download first if you are unsure. The one undo in the library is the five-second Undo after moving assets between folders.
