Your first take
In roor, one rendered result is a take. A take can be a video clip or an image. Every take goes into your library, called the rail, where you can watch it, download it, favourite it, or reuse its settings for the next one.
This page walks through a video take. Images work the same way from the Image tool.
Open Video
Sign in and choose Video in the sidebar. The panel at the bottom is the console: prompt, model and settings.
Write the prompt
Describe the shot as you would to a camera operator: what is in frame, how the camera moves, the light, the mood.

Two things the prompt can carry:
- A spoken line. Put it in quotes and the model speaks it, with the mouth moving to match, on models that make sound.
She looks up and says "This is the one I have been waiting for." - Elements. Type
@to mention a character, location, prop or style you have saved in Elements. The take then stays true to it.
Pick a model and the settings
Each model in the picker says what it does: Sound, Speech + music, Clip reference or Silent. The Video page has the full table.
Below the model, the pills set duration in seconds, aspect ratio, quality and how many takes to render at once (up to 4). Your plan decides the top quality and the longest clip; anything above it shows a lock and a link to Pricing.
Check the price, then Generate
The Generate button shows the exact cost in credits before you press it. The number updates as you change the model, the duration or the quality.
Press it. The take appears in the rail and renders in place. Short clips at 480p take a minute or so; long or high-resolution renders can take several minutes.
Open the take
Click the take to open it full size. From there:
- Download saves the file.
- Favourite keeps it beyond your plan’s retention window.
- Reuse puts the prompt, model, settings and references back into the console, ready to change one thing and go again.
- Send to Community submits it for review. Approved takes appear on your public page.
Test the idea cheaply first: 480p, 5 seconds, one take. When the shot works, open it, press Reuse, raise the quality and render again.
If a take fails
Credits are charged when you press Generate. If the render fails, or the model takes longer than the studio waits, the take is marked failed and the credits come back to your balance automatically. The take shows the refund on its row. Retrying is safe.
Before you press Generate
Every prompt is checked before anything renders. Prompts that fall into a category the Acceptable Use Policy does not permit are refused, and no credits are charged for a refused prompt.
