# Community and your public page

Nothing you make is public unless you send it to Community. When you do, a reviewer looks at it first. Approved takes appear in the Community feed inside the studio and on your own public page at `roor.ai/@your-handle`.

## Claim a handle first

Your public URL carries your handle, so you need one before anything can go public.

* Set it in **Settings**, under **Profile**, in the **Handle** field. Lowercase letters, numbers, dashes and underscores, up to 30 characters, starting with a letter or a number.
* The field checks availability as you type. A tick means it is free; a cross and "is taken" mean pick another.
* If you press **Send to Community** without a handle, the panel asks for one on the spot: type it and press **Claim & send**.

Changing your handle later changes every public URL you already have. Links you have shared will stop working. Choose it once.

While you are in Profile: **Display name** is what visitors see above your handle, **Bio** gives you 140 characters, and **Change avatar** takes a square crop of any JPEG or PNG.

## Send a take to Community

#### Open the take and press Send to Community

The button sits in the take's overlay, for images and video alike. Below it, the **Show prompt** checkbox decides whether visitors can read your prompt. It is on by default.

#### Wait for review

The panel reads **Waiting for review - it appears in Community once approved**. The take stays private until a reviewer approves it. There is no notification when the verdict lands; reopen the take to see it.

#### Approved, or not

**Approved:** the take goes public. The button now reads **Public**, and **Copy link** copies your public URL.

**Not approved:** the panel says so, with the reviewer's note when there is one. The take stays private. You can change it, or send it again.

A take that was approved once and later unpublished goes straight back live when you send it again. It does not queue a second time.

## Your public link

Public URLs look like `roor.ai/@handle/a-few-words-from-the-prompt-xxxxxx`. The last part is made from your prompt and the take's id when the take is first published, and it never changes after that.

**What visitors see:** the media, a slate line with the model, the type and the date, your name and handle linking to your profile, and the prompt if you left **Show prompt** on. Visitors can **Copy link**, **Report** the item, and, when the prompt is visible, press **Try this prompt** to open the studio with your prompt and settings loaded.

**What stays private:** everything else in your working record. Seeds, references, negative prompts and the rest of your settings are never shown.

**Your profile page** at `roor.ai/@handle` shows your avatar, display name, bio and a grid of your most recent public takes, newest first.

## Unpublish

On a public take, press **Public** and confirm with **Unpublish - the link dies**. The link stops working at once, the take leaves the Community feed, and your private original stays in your library. The URL is kept reserved for you, so it can never be given to someone else's take. Send the take again whenever you like and the same link comes back.

## The Community feed

**Community** in the studio's navigation shows everyone's approved takes, most liked first, then newest. Switch between **Images** and **Videos**, adjust the tile size, and open any take to read its prompt and details. **Reuse prompt** copies the prompt and opens the console, so you can start from something you liked.

If you belong to a workspace, takes your teammates share at workspace visibility appear here too, for members only.

## Workspaces and "public by default"

A workspace owner can set **Default visibility for new takes** to Private, Workspace or Public in the workspace settings. Public does not skip review: new takes are still created private and queued for a reviewer the moment they finish rendering. See [Members and roles](/workspace/members).

## Reporting a take, and copyright

Every public take page has a **Report** control. Anyone can use it, signed in or not. Reports are reviewed by a person; nothing is removed automatically.

* **Something else** covers anything that should not be public.
* **Copyright** is a formal notice. It asks for your name, email, the work you say was infringed, a description, two sworn statements and a typed signature.

You get a reference number and a reply at the email you gave. Copyright notices can also go to [dmca@roor.ai](mailto:dmca@roor.ai). The full procedure, including counter-notices, is on the [Copyright and Takedown](https://studio.roor.ai/legal/dmca) page.

While a rights complaint against one of your takes is open, that take cannot be sent to Community. A take that is delisted after a complaint stays in your own library; you are told the reason and how to respond.
